Fresh & Frozen Logistics

Logo GoFoodLogGOFOODLOG (Gorizia Food Logistics) is the new food logistics area that offers companies logistic and transport services.
Furthermore, the warehouses that are dedicated to dry, fresh and frozen goods can be managed with flexible tailor-made solutions in terms of size and temperature (up to -30°).

The Investment was funded by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, in relation to Osimo funds. It consists in:

  • 11 refrigeration rooms (from 190 mq.to 650 mq.) for a total area of 4.400sqm and a total volume of 28.700mc.
  • Areas located before the refrigeration rooms at controlled temperature to preserve the cold chain
  • A modern shelving system that allows to store up to 3.800 pallets
  • A warehouse management system for the tracking and remotely management of the batches

Certifications

SDAG is implementing the necessary procedures to certify its managing system according to the IFS international Featured Standard – Logistics, with reference to goods safety and security.

Authorisations

SDAG has obtained the authorization to store biological packed food.

SDAG has also extended the IT-TS Authorisationn. 000029 for the storage of alcoholic goods intended to be used for national commercialization, that are subjected to the excise duty.

Finally, it has been concluded the authorization process to become a deposit for food of animal origin under Regulation (EC) 853/2004.
